So many things have happened in the past 2 weeks. I was unable to post a blog due to an eye injury. Last week we were planting in a refill chem-spray block and I took a stick to the eye. I spent 3 hours in the emergency to find out I had scratched it really good. The fortunate part was that is wasn’t a deep cut and would heal in a matter of weeks. Due to my injury I was unable to see clear enough to plant for 3 days. In camp I was able to help out and do some light duties such as clean the mess tent do dishes and paint trailer hitches. During the two weeks of planting our bus died a slow death. Firstly we lost our ability to reverse then our transmission blew up! Its been a little rough not having a bus to get our crew to the block. We are currently sharing vehicles with whoever can take us. Im now planting 1000/1500 trees a day and the bugs are distroying my body. I apoligise for the poor image quality some photos were taken with my iPhone.
